Strike capability in 1963 for RCAF CF 104 aircraft stationed in occupied West Germany.
• Chapter 2 describes the selection requirements for both dog & handler, how their individual
personalities are meshed into an inter-dependent relationship. The feeding, hygene and
working life of a dog is described in detail.
• Chapter 3 outlines in detail the methods used to develop a dog into a superb and dangerous
weapon with its only reward the praise & affection of its master.
• Chapters 4, 5, & 6 describe the on-going operations of the Sentry Dog Program.
Read in the Handlers’ own words the humor & hi-jinks they resorted to on occasion to overcome

weather, guarding Canada’s nuclear strike aircraft.
